“Our friend Doug Cook and his team over at Motion Raceworks really decided to push the envelope on this build, but in the most laid back way! Instead of chasing the record for a platform that is so commonly found, they decided to open new doors and see other ways reliable power could be made. With virtually no seat time and no real world data, they set off on the journey to challenge it all during Hot Rod’s Drag Week 2017 while chasing that record breaking pass. Unfortunately for Doug, the inevitable gremlins from a fresh build kept them from gathering much needed data the first few days but after pulling out the GM wiring harness they were able to resolve the issue and get back to progress! This car is a testament to upcoming builds and factory cars with a Gen V LT4 engine, We have a LOT to look forward too!”
